Pay Per Post Success!

As of this morning Life in (near) Philly has officially been accepted on PayPerPost.com! This is exciting for a few reasons. I’m always looking to expand on the topics I discuss on Life in (near) Philly, so I’m hoping this gives me the chance to broaden my horizons (saying stuff like that makes me feel old and wise, heh). PayPerPost.com (PPP) will allow me to talk about some things that I normally would not have the chance to write about – exciting!

Considering this blog is only a little more than a month old (with 40+ posts!) I was nervous it might not be accepted. I had to be sure Life in (near) Philly is listed on Google and Yahoo! among some other requirements, so it feels good to finally be accepted after over a week of nervously waiting!

Reasons I already like PayPerPost.com:

  1. As mentioned above, one of the requirements was to be sure to be listed in Google and Yahoo! Search results…this is something I’m not sure I would have attempted if it wasn’t for PPP. It took some work but I achieved this feat and I now receive regular traffic from queries relating to some of my posts.
  2. Sponsored posts require a slightly different focus/style than my normal posts…so it will be very interesting to see how these posts change the dynamic of my blog…no matter what it will be a learning experience/adventure, which is why I’m doing this in the first place.
  3. So far PPP has been a breeze to use – I was nervous that getting it up and running on my blog would cause problems, but it went off without a hitch. Usability plays a huge part in the success of any product, so kudos to PayPerPost.com for a job well done.
  4. PPP offers a unique way to drive traffic to Life in (near) Philly.

I look forward to working with PayPerPost.com and seeing what opportunities present themselves - Cheers!
